Enjoy an evening of original music from all three artists as well as some holiday favorites! ABOUT MARIA AND THE COINS Minneapolis indie pop-rockers Maria and the Coins are marking a new chapter. With the release of their latest single "Something Good,” the fivesome is ushering in a new era of high-energy indie pop rock while still maintaining the lyrical integrity, powerhouse vocals and early 2000s-esque style that defines their sound. Frontwoman Maria Coyne chronicles her journey in love, struggles with depression and anxiety, and finding herself in a vulnerable yet resilient way that leaves the listener hopeful about what can happen when we fight for the light within ourselves and find joy in the little corners of the universe. The result is a tapestry of big-picture pop anthems, soulful ballads, and driving-with-the-windows-down-belt-your-heart-out bangers. Maria and the Coins have opened for Christina Perri, Papa Roach, Betty Who, JP Saxe and Haley Reinhart. Their debut album ‘Forward’ received local and national radio play with the lead single “Movin’ On” gaining traction on Spotify with over 300k streams. The Minneapolis-based fivesome is currently recording new music set for release in early 2025. For more, visit www.mariaandthecoins.com. Named 2023 Americana Artist of the Year at the Midwest Country Music Awards, Molly Brandt is making waves in the independent music scene. With her powerful vocals, compelling storytelling, and unforgettable performances, her songs weave tales of heartache, resilience, and triumph, delving into blue-collar struggles, dive bar revelries, long car rides, and cold-blooded revenge. With a musical background that includes stints as a classical pianist and jazz vocalist, Brandt found her songwriting voice when she turned to roots music, using a tapestry of Americana styles to tell her vivid and gritty stories. She released her first singles in 2022 and was soon performing at venues and festivals across the Midwest. Her 2023 debut album, Surrender to the Night, blends honky-tonk, countrypolitan, and alt-rock influences. Her next album, American Saga, is set to release on September 27th, 2024 and singles off this project have been rolling out throughout the summer of 2024. Her new material explores an even broader range of roots and Americana music, breaking the mold of Americana and country to form a sound that is all her own. In early 2024, her band performed on The Rhinestone Teardrops Tour alongside Chicago-based artist, Reilly Downes & The Acid Cowboys, traveling across the United States, performing in Austin, Nashville, Memphis, and Chicago, to name a few. Her band continuously captivates audiences with a fiery delivery, memorable attire, and evocative lyrics. As we hear what this next iteration of Molly Brandt sounds like, one thing we can count on is that it’s going to be unforgettable. “Take a ride with me,” she sings in one song that could be an advertisement for her own music. “Light me up, you know you can’t resist / ’Cause I’m like propane and cigarettes.”

FG4K believes that putting an instrument into the hands of a kid does not go far enough to ensure that the child receives the full benefit of an instrument. That’s why FG4K seeks out partner organizations across the country to help ensure kids receive lessons, but more importantly, mentorship. [though without the deer] shortly after agreeing to this ambitious project, yvonne quickly became engrossed in this work, falling behind in school, and dropping out. the two went on to create and produce many live projects in small bars and diy music venues throughout the united states. during this time they would learn to conceptualize a canvas where they could paint their performances on in these spaces. searching for more community and collaboration, yvonne and ezekiella moved to the east cost. soon after moving, the pandemic forced them into isolation where they decided to build an off grid school bus and engineer a studio inside. they would end up in the country side of maryland living in cow fields and farmland where they wrote music endlessly and farmed for money and food. you can hear this dichotomy take shape in the music they began creating. exploring the space between natural and digital sounds, pulling back and forth at each other like the constant tug between a digital loneliness and a connected human experience. from the effects of deep isolation and poverty, the two reached a point of discouragement. their songs were not living up to ezekiella’s high standards and yvonne had no money to source materials for their sets. the two felt they had only the option of giving up, or to dive as deep as they could into their work. for the next couple of years ezekiella would spend every single day teaching herself mix-engineering, while yvonne sourced trash materials for their sets from the nearby farms, harvesting garbage, cleaning it, and piecing a production set together. every night yvonne would come home from the cold barn they worked in covered in dust and sit in the car listening to ezekiella’s mixes, neither of them being fully ready to say their education was complete. it was after years of relentlessly pushing past their creative and physical limits they would emerge with their debut single “u i” ABOUT KATE SAOIRSE Kate Saoirse is a Minneapolis-based musician, songwriter, and creative force who has built a career amplifying the voices of others. The music has been written throughout different time periods in his life, and represents his connection to the music of Django Reinhardt. The band consists of Ryan Picone from The Red Hot Django Peppers, Ian Stenlund from The Mississippi Hot Club, Tessa Nichols Meade from the Cold City Heat, and Matt Blake from the Gentleman’s Anti Temperance League. This group is an all star group that brings together a new transfiguration of Jazz. CD Liner notes: The songs on this album are connected to a musical journey that spans several years of my life. The album’s title, I Awake, is an allusion to the great Django Reinhardt, to whom the album is dedicated. Each song, represents a story, a time, a place, a person, a moment, or a feeling - and the album as a whole explores the paradoxical and circular nature of beginning and end. Review by author; Michael Dregni. "Swinging, sensual, moody, rousing — Ryan Picone Quartet's music follows the trail of Django Reinhardt's Gypsy jazz. Listening to these tracks, you can almost smell the campfire smoke and see the nighttime lights of Paris burning on the horizon. Bon voyage!"

If you reserved a table, the table is yours for the night. $20 ADVANCE (+taxes/fees) $27 AT THE DOORS (+taxes/fees) ABOUT AUSTIN PLAINE Like only the most insightful songwriters, Austin Plaine draws intense emotion from the subtlest moments. On his sophomore album Stratford, the Minnesota-bred, Nashvillebased musician shapes his lyrical storytelling with both precision and pure feeling, capturing every nuance of lost love and longing and fractured innocence. And while Stratford is steeped in a warm nostalgia, Plaine instills each song with a quiet optimism that speaks to bravely moving forward, even in troubled times. Produced by Jay Foote and mixed by Steve Vealey (M. Ward, Phoenix, Hurray for the Riff Raff) at the legendary Electric Lady Studios, Stratford arrives as the follow-up to Plaine’s self-titled debut—a 2015 release that earned comparisons to Bob Dylan and Conor Oberst from Baeble Music. In a departure from that more stripped-down effort, Plaine assembled a full-fledged band who recorded in an apartment in Brooklyn, infusing Stratford with a homegrown feel and loose yet kinetic energy. Taking its title from the Flatbush street where the album came to life, Stratford offers a classically arranged take on folk-rock that illuminates the intimacy of Plaine’s vocal work and the graceful candor of his lyrics. From track to track, the 27-year-old singer/guitarist reveals a refined sense of songcraft that he partly credits to moving to Nashville from his hometown of Minneapolis in early 2017. “Being part of a whole community of songwriters, you realize there’s a lot of different directions you can take a song,” he says. “It’s really opened me up as a writer, and it’s also helped me to hone in on every word of every line that I write.” With its abundance of indelible images—night trains and the Northern Lights, backyard camping and drive-in romance—Stratford also bears a richness of detail that hints at the literary and cinematic influence behind Plaine’s songwriting. “People tend to think my songs are personal because I sing in the first person, but often it’s very observational for me,” says Plaine, who names Alexandre Dumas and Henry Miller among his inspirations. “I’m learning to understand new philosophies of life, love, and death”, attributing his passion for reading has helped him attain a better sense of his surroundings. Proving the emotional depth of Plaine’s artistry, Stratford opens with the wistful reminiscence of “Something More” (a steel-guitar-laced track “like a movie I’ve seen before / way back when / we were something more” sings Plaine in the chorus), then slips into the bittersweet, burned-but-not-broken ache of “What Kind of Fool” (a rollicking, country-tinged number co-written with Sixpence None the Richer’s Leigh Nash and Stephen Wilson). Later, on “Lucky Ones”, Plaine presents a more hopeful portrait unconditional love, with singer/songwriter Soren Bryce lending her vocals to the chorus’s bright and beautiful harmonies.

Long nights bled into mornings in the tiny shack he built in the backyard, eight feet by ten feet. What began as demos meant for a later visit to a proper studio became the album itself, spare and intimate and true. Recorded live and alone around two microphones, Jeffrey often held his breath to wait for the low diesel hum of a truck to pass one block over on the busy… ABOUT LOU HAZEL Lou Hazel was born in the town of Olean, New York to a family of northeastern wiseacres. Not one to commit, he skirted the compulsive hunting and fishing tradition held close to his father’s heart - instead cultivating a sensitivity more suited to artists and vagabonds. As a result, his travels brought him across the country and eventually through debilitating depression before coming to rest with a sense of personal peace and positivity in Durham, NC. Yet, Lou’s brain is still a bat cave. Mostly, he wakes up with no idea what he’s going to do next, then finds himself there. In songwriting, he pulls from this cave rambling, heartfelt tales flowing through unselfconscious truth. In illustrations, he swirls and meanders towards an eventual finish only understood upon completion – as in his music. And in his photography and design work, he renders the essence of fellow musicians into expressive, personalized works of art. Today, Louie continues crafting genuine folk tales of honest longing, disquieting loss, and nostalgia through a brilliant sheen of fresh insight with humble humor. Grabbing us by the ears in a new-age, Prine-like grip. Transforming the minutiae of everyday life into ever more evocative music. And surprising us all, including himself, with where we emerge. In other words, Lou Hazel is coming out of this unbearable, unbelievably tragic, disconcerting year like a damn newborn moth with jet engine wings aimed toward a totally full super-moon. And it is good.
