Katy Davidson (pronouns: they/she) writes lyrics with layered meanings that contemplate the vast realms and intersections of wilderness, humanity, morality, technology, late capitalism, and love. Walker Rider is the lofi indie project of Wyatt Dronen. Originally hailing from rural midwest farmland, Wyatts songwriting is mostly queer love songs kiltering on limerence. Their 2025 record “Fair” was recorded to 4-track tape with friends Colin Miller, and Landon George. The single “Free” was recorded with Advance Base. Walker Rider is currently based in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
