They incorporate elements of bedroom pop and midwest emo into their music. The band has Abbie on vocals and keys, Tim on guitar, Micah on bass, and Bryan on drums. They have spent the last year together writing new music and performing at local venues around the twin cities. They have been compared to the likes of Muse, Peach Pit, and Mitski, but they are really carving out their own sound and niche in the Minneapolis music scene. Quietchild is an independent pop band based in the Twin Cities featuring Drew Dravis, Galen Austin, and Cuyler Monahan. They blend influences from R&B, folk, rock and electronic music into their distinctive pop sound. They are joined by Mario Leon and Alyssa Vlasak, who help bring their pop vision to life through live performances. Quietchild continues to make their mark in the Twin Cities, offering an evolving journey for listeners, who are looking for a little more pop in the local scene. Taking on trio form is Soulflower’s Inayah, Freakwhensee and Zeke. Merging melodies and open space. This trio plays off of one another. Sharing intimate sonic moments unique to each live show.
