Her children’s book Our Mama is a Beautiful Garden and the song and lyric picture book Hero Now Crowned have received acclaim for their impactful storytelling and inspirational messages. This event also supports Gilda’s Club – Minnesota, a nonprofit dedicated to aiding individuals and families affected by cancer. Laura Hugo will set the tone for the evening with her evocative voice and heartfelt songwriting. Her music, which explores themes of love, grief, and mental health, offers a poignant reflection on the healing power of music.
