David Feily presents: Nelson Devereaux & Barlow

Doors: 6pm (Full Food & Beverage menu available all night) Showtime: 7pm $18 in advance $24 at the door Minneapolis resident, Nelson Devereaux, has played various wind instruments with bands like Bon Iver, Paul Cherry, Craig Finn, Mild High Club, Jungle, Lizzo, Magdalena Bay, This Is The Kit, among others. His upcoming solo record, "infinity" will be released on November 7th on Brooklyn-based record label Youngbloods. The lead single is entitled "ghostrider" and is out on streaming everywhere. His live ensemble varies from show to show but the core band is Mike Sodnik on guitar, Cody McKinney on bass, Kevin Gamble on keys and Deve Power on drums/ Boasting a lifelong career as an actor with a deep knowledge of funk and soul music under his belt, Barlow aims to be the Renaissance Man of your alt-R&B fantasies. Expressive lyrics, believable angst and a colored past all bubble together for impressive, passionate music. Reminiscent of Daniel Caesar, Anderson .Paak, and Miguel, Barlow's debut self-titled EP with veteran producer Bionik (Lizzo, Far East Movement, Sophia Eris) is raw, eclectic and carries on the tradition of great R&B from Minneapolis, Minnesota. His live band includes Eric Mayson (keyboard, vocals) and Toby Ramaswamy (Drums).
