PV$$Y CNTRL is a dance residency curated by Sophia Eris and DJ Shannon Blowtorch. With sounds centering hip hop, house, remixes and more, PV$$Y CNTRL centers women and all allies ensuring the best place to shake ass with no judgment. Going on 2 years, this residency has collaborated with the cities most prominent DJ’s & performers, & has grown from Minneapolis, to St. Paul, and looks forward to the expansion into the beyond.

SOPHIA ERIS BIO:

Sophia Eris is a renaissance woman currently residing in Minneapolis, MN. She graduated with a Music Business degree from IPR in 2009, and immediately jumped into artist promotion as an employee at Tinderbox Music for 3 years while working on her own artistic journey. Since 2012 she's grown from a respected solo artist, to an international touring DJ with 4x Grammy award winning artist Lizzo, to a morning show host at Go 95.3, the most forward-thinking hip-hop radio station in the country. She has collaborated with Prince, appeared on the Power Rangers soundtrack, performed at major festivals like Glastonbury, Bonnaroo, and Lollapalooza, & also made her television DJing debut on Ellen, David Letterman, & Stephen Colbert. She is currently gearing up for her & MAKR's third album "LILITH” under MAKR AN ERIS that will drop in 2026. Sophia is limitless and will never stop allowing herself to follow her curiosity within the arts.

BLOWTORCH BIO:

Shannon Blowtorch is an award winning DJ, promoter, professional party thrower, sound engineer, businesswoman, and entertainment consultant. Blowtorch has been making moves in many aspects of the Minneapolis music scene since moving there in her 20s as a dancer and band manager, later working at iconic Minneapolis venues such and First Avenue and The Triple Rock and hosting her own show on The Current. She’s a DJ who was named by the City Pages and Star Tribune as being the Best Club DJ multiple times, as well as making the Suntimes top 100 DJs and featured in many publications.

Blowtorch was the DJ for GRRRL PRTY along with Lizzo, Sophia Eris and Manchita. She has opened for international acts: Salt N Peppa, Madonna, Juicy J, Wutang, Jill Scott & Peaches to name a few. Also, playing at Prince’s Paisley Park and the house DJ for the X Games. Along with competing in the world renowned Red Bull The3style competition, Shannon Blowtorch is one of premier DJ’s and party curators in the Twin Cities. K
