StoLyette features a pitch shifting, repeating, layered bass, vocals in foreign languages, and drums. In particular, these dynamic soundscapes mixed with an expressive vocal approach presented mostly in Russian provide the listener room to interpret and reconstruct the meaning of each composition to reflect more personally the listener’s own experience and state. PORNONONO: Consisting of Jacob Mullis, Amy Hager, Aaron Baum, Jared Isabella, Ben Clark, and Peter Lavoie, Pornonono is a psychedelic RnB future myth in search of a time and place where we can dance ourselves into one unified body and soul. We will be releasing a brand new single in honor of this momentous occasion. The last set of the night will be a collaborative dance party set with all the acts based on previously unreleased Pornonono songs, a live remix celebration! LEOPARD TREE DREAM: Leopard Tree Dream, a hazy nebulous of proto-techno synthesizer workouts, mind controlling slambient soundscapes, and danceable grooves that marry the computer’s spirit with human flesh and feature BRANIGIVER’s Aaron Baum and Alex Nutter, techno DJ and party organizer AKKO, and local legend JT Bates on drums. The lads will have some prepared electronics but everything else will be improvised reaction. Prepare for your BRAIN to be rendered STUPEFIED.
