Seating first comes, first serve. 21+ $20 Adv (+fees/taxes) $27 Doors (+fees/taxes) Martin Dosh and JT Bates have been exploring rhythms in tandem since the turn of the century, drawing from shared influences of all areas of jazz music, pocket drumming, and sampling/collage music. Martin Dosh has been making independent music for 30 years; primarily using drums, Rhodes, samplers and synths. Mostly analog and anachronistic, heavily improvised and minimally structured. Minneapolis based drummer JT Bates has covered a lot of musical ground throughout the last few decades. With a shift towards recording in the last number of years, garnering multiple Grammy Awards (Taylor Swift “Folklore”, I’m With Her “Ancient Light” ). Touring the world with the acclaimed Bonny Light Horseman(feat Anais Mitchell, Eric D Johnson, and Josh Kaufman) Big Red Machine, and Hiss Golden Messenger. Growing up in a family of jazz musicians, JT started early, playing his first gigs while still in middle school. Creative music has been integral to developing a sound and feel on the drumset, as well as expanding the palette of sounds available.
