Bryan Murray is a proudly weird saxophonist, composer, and visual artist from WV, shaped by Chicago, Brooklyn, NJ, and now Minnesota. He’s toured with David Byrne/St. Vincent, played with Ray Charles and Father John Misty, leads Bryan and the Haggards, and invented the Balto! sax. Christopher Thomson is a saxophonist, composer, and educator based in Minneapolis, MN focused on creating genre-defying music that incorporates electronic, classical, jazz, and eclectic musical styles in his work as Cedar Thoms with releases Celestial Being (2019) and Brighter Days Ahead (2021) in addition to his work as a saxophonist with other artists. He passionately explores creative possibilities when musicians get together for collaboration and has worked with artists such as Bon Iver, S. Carey, Father John Misty, Delfeayo Marsalis, Mason Jennings, Dylan Hicks and Small Screens, Anthony Cox, Dosh, among others. He lives with his wife, Emma, their two children, Avi and Eden, and their spirited dog, Benny. Calvin Caron is a bassist and composer, and a 2022 graduate of the University of Minnesota - Duluth with a BFA in Jazz Studies. He is now living in Minneapolis, MN, working as a bassist and sideman while simultaneously composing, recording, and performing music of his own. In the spring of 2025 Calvin released his debut project, “Transition Moments”, featuring an all-star cast of Twin Cities musicians. His compositions create unique atmospheres for communal freedom of expression. His writing draws inspiration from the musical styles of Jazz, Folk, Country, and classical traditions. Adam Harder Nussbaum is a drummer and bandleader in the Twin Cities. In addition to his own groups, he performs with the Michael Cain Trio, the Jake Baldwin Quartet, Gutter Talk Organ Trio, and the Garrett Jones Electric Quartet, among others.
