A lifelong vocalist, their old-school country voice harkens to honky-tonk-heartbreak crooners of yesteryear, while their lyrics appeal to the personal-political concerns of today. The songs on their debut EP, Grow Again, include a finger-picked reflection on the malaise of seasonal depression alongside a slow-dancing lament likening climate deniers to unrequited lovers. Moe's marriage of sentimental sound with contemporary sentiment produces something distinctly their own: earnest lyrics cradled by melodies that tenderly soar to tend to the sore, soft spots of us all. Moe's debut album, Scribbled Line, was recorded live and released in June 2025. It is now available for purchase on vinyl through their bandcamp. “After releasing a very promising EP last year, Moe Reen is back with a full-length that decisively delivers on that promise. The Ohio singer-songwriter has a big following on TikTok thanks to their distinctive covers of old Patsy Cline and Johnny Mathis songs, but Scribbled Line is filled with original tunes about love and loss, the distance between the two, and the longing that fills that space. Moe Reen is blessed with a classic crooner’s voice that’s perfect for singing about those topics. Here, they show that they can write evocatively about them as well.” — Ben Salmon, “The Best Country Music on Bandcamp, June 2025” Sadie’s Bio Folk singer Sadie Gustafson-Zook marries agile vocals and intricate guitar playing while her thoughtful lyrics capture the immensity of potential and the complexity of history that emerge during times of life transition. Sadie’s songs have been endorsed by some of the most respected songwriting contests in the country, winning Kerrville Folk Festival’s 2022 New Folk Contest (as well as placing as a finalist in 2020), earning second place at the Rocky Mountain Folk Fest’s Songwriter Showcase, and winning first place at the NewSong + LEAF Songwriting Contest. Sadie has been featured on the Basic Folk podcast and on Folk Alley. “Sadie Gustafson-Zook is a songwriter with that enviable knack of being able to take a very specific moment in her life and somehow imbue it with universality and a common thread. Listening to her songs, you find yourself thinking about your own existence as you learn about hers.” — Songwriting Magazine Michael’s Bio Michael Gay is a Minneapolis-based country and folk storyteller. Michael cut his teeth in the Twin Cities’ Americana scene while releasing music under the moniker, Almighty American, winning fans and media praise for his honest, accessible songwriting spanning a coupe of self-released EP’s and a full length album, Somewhere Ride (2017). Michael eventually ditched the moniker and started performing under his own name in 2020, marking this shift with the release of Make It Right (2021) Produced by John James Tourville in a friend’s home studio in Nashville, TN. The album was mixed/mastered by Paul Oldham. In the spring of 2023, he and his band (now consisting of Daniel Stewart on Bass, Matt Decker on Drums, and AJ Srubas on Pedal Steel) filmed and recorded the last show of a monthly residency at The Terminal Bar in NE Minneapolis. The result was a live album — “Michael Gay & His Dang Band: Live from a Dive” released in March of 2024. The full album’s live performance is available to watch on YouTube and the audio is available to stream in digital album format on all major streaming platforms.
