Formed just a year ago, the group has quickly built a sound that blends soulful songwriting with a free-flowing jamband spirit. Their debut single, “Remind,” is streaming now, offering a first taste of their evolving journey. The lineup brings together voices and talents from across the Twin Cities music scene. Nicholas David, known nationally for his run on NBC’s The Voice in 2012, adds his signature alternative soul to the mix alongside long-time collaborator Dylan Nau (Gold Standard, Apollo Cobra). Guitarist Demitrious Rallis (Frogleg), Austin Lee (SOAP), and Chad Whittaker (The Kung Fu Hippies) expand the group’s sound with rich layers of groove and improvisation. With no single frontperson, The Here Afters embrace a truly collective approach, where each member shapes the music in the moment. Their performances feel alive, unpredictable, and rooted in connection, celebrating the space between polished songcraft and spontaneous exploration.
