Munya, aka TONEZ (pronounced “Tones”), is a co-founder of SELECTS and part of the GenerationNOW crew, where he shines as an MC, DJ, and global entertainer. Originally from Zimbabwe, he brings “Thriving” energy to every stage, whether on the mic or behind the decks. Known for his magnetic presence and deep musical roots, TONEZ crafts high-energy, soulfully grounded experiences. A passionate DJ, he blends Funk, House, Afro House, Deep House, and global rhythms that reflect his heritage. He’s opened for acts like Elderbrook, rocked stages from the 2018 Super Bowl Live to intimate, late-night dance floors, and has also guest DJ’d for the Minnesota Timberwolves, Lynx, and Twins, always creating meaningful connections through sound and culture. From massive crowds to close-knit vibes, TONEZ leaves every room more joyful, united, and alive, because for him, music isn’t just a vibe, it’s who he is.
