They enjoyed such success with that release that they were inspired to record a follow up album on the 10 year anniversary of their first collaboration. Lantern In The Dark: Songs of Comfort and Lullabies was released October 18th, 2024 and they've been performing across the country in support it, including appearances at Rocky Mountain Folks Fest, the legendary Club Passim in Cambridge, and Denver’s storied Swallow Hill. The duo just recently won their second NAPPA award (National Parenting Product Award) for Lantern: “Gorgeous…exquisitely crafted songs that are guaranteed to touch your heart.” (NAPPA Awards) *Please note that this is not a kids’ show. It’s a folk-Americana performance with an overarching theme of comfort plus heaps of harmonies and humor. Highly recommended.” ____________________________________________________ ABOUT EDIE: Edie Carey has been performing since 1999, singing alongside Sara Bareilles and Brandi Carlile and appearing on PRI’s syndicated Mountain Stage as well as Cayamo, Telluride Bluegrass, and Newport Folk Festivals. She was a featured vocalist along with Lisa Loeb on the 2020 Grammy-Winning ensemble All the Ladies.
