ABOUT ERIC MAYSON + TOBY RAMASWAMY Composer, collaborator, and multi-instrumentalist Eric Mayson has an insatiable curiosity that pulls him in many directions. He works with theaters and dance companies, bands and orchestras, loves playing Dungeons and/or Dragons, and reading history. In 2019 he began training for a new career in aviation and is currently working as a flight instructor at Mankato Regional Airport. Toby Ramaswamy is a composer, drummer, and producer based in Minneapolis. He has been fortunate enough to work with and learn from a diverse group of Minneapolis musicians and artists in a wide range of genres. As a drummer, he plays regularly with artists including Tabah, rice, Barlow, Jo Kellen, Tram, Eric Mayson, Wheel Eternal, and CB. Eric and Toby met on a bus 15ish years ago. Toby had a stick bag, and Eric struck up a conversation about music. They became fast friends and have been making music together ever since. Dance classes and pit bands, guitar choirs and improv jams, from D&D to tour vans, their collaborations have been eclectic and enthusiastic. Rummage promises to be an amalgamation of all the styles and processes they’ve developed together over the years, as well as a platform for a wide array of noise makers willing to try new things. To rummage through that creative well within, pry something loose from that deep primordial ooze, hoist it aloft and exclaim, “Hey! Look what I found!”
